High Volume Multi Site Water Treatment

ProAct was contracted to treat hydrotest water in support of a major 7 state pipeline conversion.  ProAct used mobile backwashable sand filters and bag filters and a three man crew to treat the hydrotest water for suspended solid and iron before discharge.  Water was treated at a flow rate of up to 4,000 gallons per minute on a 24 hour basis when water was discharged at the completion of each segment hydrotest.

Equipment was mobilized and operational in one week from the initial contact.
ProAct moved the treatment equipment, pumps and piping as the hydrotest progressed along the pipeline route.  The project lasted for four months and resulted in 98 million gallons of water treated and discharged.  The discharge limits were met.  There were no accidents on the project.

Volume: 2.34M Barrels/98M gallons

Flow Rate: 95 BPM/4,000 GPM

Discharge monitored for:  Total Suspended Solids and Iron
